About Me

In the beautiful landscapes of Southern Scotland, I found not just a home, but my voice. Growing up in London until my late teens, I carried with me the greatest gift my father ever shared — a love for music and songs straight from the heart.

My father’s ability to infuse every note and every story with genuine emotion is the foundation of my artistic journey. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit resonates through every chord I play and every verse I sing.

The legends of country music — Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, and Jim Reeves — were the soundtrack of my childhood. Patsy, in particular, with her warm, evocative tones and talent for making each lyric feel like a lived truth, shaped my understanding of what it means to truly perform a song rather than simply sing it.

My musical path emerged later in life — a discovery rather than a destination. Self-taught on the fiddle and whistle, I eventually uncovered what had been waiting all along: my voice. This journey of musical self-discovery has led to three albums celebrating Patsy Cline’s music, new original compositions and exploring diverse country music styles.

From intimate venues across Scotland, England, and Wales to stages in Ireland, Spain, and Portugal, I’ve shared these stories and melodies with audiences who’ve responded to the authenticity at the heart of my music. When someone remarked, “Rosalind, you’re not just a singer, you are a performer,” they captured exactly what I strive to be — someone who doesn’t merely recite songs but lives and feels them, inviting listeners to share the experience with me.

As I look toward new horizons, I carry with me the traditions that have shaped me while embracing the unique perspective my Scottish home has brought to my musical identity. Country music is about roots and connections—to family, to place, to emotional truths. Whether performing beneath the Northern Lights or under Southern Cross skies, I aim to create those connections through every performance.

For me this is more than a career — it’s a continuation of a legacy, a celebration of influences, and most importantly, an ongoing conversation between artist and audience. I invite you to join me on this journey as we explore the stories that connect us all, no matter how far apart we may be.
